Hold on, We Should be Together

when we approach a problem, we often decide our response relying upon inference rather than logical deduction. inference is essentially a good guess based upon past observations and extrapolating, if not interpolating, the next best course of action in a familiar pattern. if anything, we cannot assume a linear pattern exists in many occurrences; linear relationships only help to simplify the matter at hand. more importantly, we leaving too much of our future in the hands of our past. no one likes to step out of their confort zones; they treasure their personal space to point they are so absorbed with its formalities. i appreciate the existence of rules and regulations, but we must look beyond them when solving a problem. these rules aren't carved in stone, they were put into place by an authority of higher order with a supposed higher level of far-sightedness.

i find it truly rewarding when someone cares to share his comfort zone and personal space with me. it means i have managed to fully assimilate into their way of life without interfering too much. also, it removes the complications of formalities and 'politeness'. i know we are held accountable for how we behave and respond in a social environment, but the only valuable contribution anyone can make is themselves as themselves. ultimately, everyone is taking on a persona to fit into a mould that'll decide how the other social actors will perceive this individual from then on. it sounds like a cause for convenience than anything else. haha and thereafter, it's a matter of keeping an image. why would I want to communicate with a plastic individual? why do we have to be fake and plastic? we think we are protecting others when we behave in a socially acceptable manner, but really, we just protecting ourselves from being hurt. it would not be pleasant at all should our 'true' personality be rejected. but hey, you can adopt another image and wa-la! you're back in a gang.

facebook and twitter have shaped us into well-polished narcissistic individuals. self-individualism may have overrated personal opinions. we pride ourselves with what we can say, and start to forget that we don't always have something smart to say. i just loveee to see attention-grabbing headlines just so it can steal your attention for those few seconds. stomp oh stomp succeeds at that.

intelligence is important. damn, intelligence is just so fucking important. im not just talking about the brainy sort, there are other disciplines of intelligence that are as significant. while it's good to have something to say, it matters more if you are saying something smart. i absolutely get it when a girl asks for a intellectual guy to keep conversation with; our brain screams for stimulation or it'd just rot away. logging onto www.cracked.com every few days sure helps too.
