Tiger Trail...ROAR! at home right now due to possibly the earliest book out i've ever had on a weekday. sorta had a road race(Tiger Trail) this morning where we ran 6km for the fun race. i seriously believe we ran more than that, cos commanders being commanders, love to 'smoke' the newbies (which is us). i was totally shagged out after that, but we had to do area cleaning before we could book out. bunk inspection is just a drag la seriously. it's just like how i used to study for chinese exams, makes no difference if i do study or not. so here i am chillin' out before meeting my army mates later in the night. shacked out and ready to fall asleep. Good food makes me Happy. 3 signal is where i am. boon lay is where it is. miserable is how it is, esp this UIP period. but arh the army will be the army, and a private is all i am. feels like shit at times, but at least i can ORD(unlike the regulars there who'll never see ORD in quite a while). it's only been 3 days and all i can look forward to in there are the precious book outs. even book outs are so hard to earn on fridays, with the wicked sick bunk inspections. of course i'll not delve any further to 'protect' myself. im sure there're alot of other nsfs sucking thumb more than i do, so i shan't complain. anyway dinner today was impromptu, but nevertheless satisfying. fortunate for me, i got to book out at 4 despite our supposedly horrendous bunk inspections. had pizza hut in bedok, with the cheesey lava crust. nothing like good food accompanied by a good chat. found out things i never did notice before. just as i was telling her, it was like movie; at the end where all the flashbacks made u notice aspects or things about someone that you never realised so. we both were really tired after a week of labour, so went back home after that. precious saturday and sunday coming up, must use wisely. vespa OH vespa well i know jade seah owns a vespa. honestly a RED vespa looks absolutely sexy. just hot hot HOT! i don't know what it is about riding a scooter that feels so old-school. it's like an adult playing a toy; a really cute toy that is. for now im rather tempted to take up a motorcycle license just for the sake of riding a MAROON vespa. just having the wind in your face, it feels so...free. what's a vespa?  my last week at SI is coming to an end, where does all the time go to? hopefully i'll be posted to a unit with some of my clique platoon mates, at least the next 1 1/2 years wont be THAT miserable. NS isn't that bad if you ask me. then again maybe that's because everything is working in my favour. be it 3rd SIG or SI or AIR FORCE, what matters most is who stands by me as we cheong the remaining 2 years. till then, im left with one last guard duty in SI. SHIATTTTT LLLAAA!!! |
