Land of the DOM After much discussion and half-hesitation (and a pretty unproductive PW-like meeting), we are finally going off to batam. sometimes i felt when we were planning for it, we were discussing as if batam was another district in Singapore. now we know planning goes a long way; overrated but necessary. Everyone suspects a calamity will befall on us during this impromptu trip, but im sure the worst has already happened since most of us have ORD. as much as i have said NO to the hookers, im quite intrigued by how it all happens at night in batam. we'll be like 5 freshmen (virgin fresh) constantly hampered by the 'old birds' of the territory as we walk down the street. now that i've said it, it'll does sound awkward. all we need is a tour guide. hope i dont bump into some adult whom i recognise, that'll be doubly awkward =l |
