BPT supposedly the last of tactical exercises, it was more breezy than expected. we were even spared with decent deployment sites, which we heard were decided by our 2IC-to-be (rumoured to have 'the face of felicia chin and boobs of fionia xie'. right...). the only fun we got out of the whole ordeal was when we were at Kranji Dam. believed to be frequented by couples who are desperate for some HOT SEX IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, we were not disappointed. actually there was a constant stream of cars which would circle around the car park initially before settling in a lot. so my friend and I would pretend to be prowling randomly and shining our torchlights randomly before 'accidentally' swaying it over the windows of the cars. caught one couple making out not love before we were stopped by my officer. so all innocent girls out there be warned, it's Kranji Dam car park which seriously is out of place. bank balance had dipped by 200 moolahs yesterday courteousy of my comics bag dvd. found a gem of a song 'believe' by the bravery in my massive library of musik. acquired 3 days off from the equally long exercise. once again failed to find my adidas shoe. need a new mp3 player. bored. on a separate note, my bike lesson at cdc yesterday was accompanied by an act of love. had this middle aged lady in my group who was sincerely supported by her husband throughout the entire lesson. while he was rather critical of her motoring skills at times, it was all cool. she was cool. not only do i admire her for being gutsy to take up biking, but her words of comfort for us youngsters are even more endearing. realised the bike enthusiasts community is proportionately smaller than that of cars. furthermore a large percentage of the bikers are generally malays or minahs, while me who form the young Chinese males is possbily the smallest group. have been told countless times how dangerous the whole idea of it can be. even when it isn't your fault, the fault of others will endanger you. but it is all cool, i'll just avoid being reckless and keep my finers crossed. hope to get my bike before i ORD! oddly i have this deep desire to be a pizza hut delivery dude, but that's a while away. 39 weeks suckers! |
