time to pop! another month to pop. has been 2 months since i last enlisted. lots has happened, bmt isn't as horrid as many have put it to be. there's pros and cons to everything, it's just how you perceive matters. life on tekong may be routine and restricted, but it's simple. at least the line between right and wrong is clear, unlike that on mainland. you learn to appreciate the luxuries a civilian has that a recruit is denied of. personal hygiene is important, though less of a priority on tekong. there are many things i wish to do, but they're on hold for now due to my present commitments. i need to expand my social circle; i need to pick up a skill; i need to spend less save more; i need to find my passion; i need a sense of direction. till then, i'll chill in the comfort of my bunk, in the company of my platoon mates. |
