post national day! this will probably be the last national day i'm spending as a student before dreaded NS. then again, NS might not be as bad as i presume it to be..or maybe it will.. after the miserable ND concert, we watched 'the experiment' with raku&co. of cos it was the sort of movie that gets you thinking more abt everyday life and ppl. are ppl who they appear to be? or are they donning a mask for all to be fooled? actually, everyone of us has a mask for a particular situation, to mask the real you. but after a while, dont you wonder what the real you really is? anyway, after the very 'entertaining' movie, we bought the tickets to tokyo drift before heading home. met up again, watched the movie again just to see the jap babes in their out-of-this-world mini-er skirts. had dinner at some phin's place before heading downtown for the fireworks. ha, as usual, and very typical, someone was in need of 'protection' from a certain someone. so much to the extent that he decided to void himself of all earthly sounds by plugging into his mp3 player. win la like tt..we spent the hour or so searching for princess huizhen who was at some thai express..and oh to our not-so-surprise, she was with her sis and sis' friends. yes, huizhen, how very convenient.. things got damn messy when we were suppose to find a spot to admire the fireworks. if it wasnt the trees blocking our view, we'd be blocking other ppl's view. and FINALLY when we thought we had a good spot, we lost steph alvin gs. argh, fortunately me ls find a better spot at the back, enough to at least video down the whole fireworks. the gals were really easily amused by the arrary of buzzing lights, but yea, who wouldnt? after tt and lots of confusion and pushing&shoving and countless attempts to phone others, we gathered with the addition of hanlong temporarily, only to lose him minutes later. heading down to marina square to get something to drink, shuan tze must have had really sexy feet or something to have someone else step on them, tearing his shoe into half, literally. lucky for us we had our 'bank' with us, st got a pair of slippers at crocs. pardon me, i meant really expensive-high-class-ass slippers. we began wandering around to random places before settling in the city hall station to chill out before the last train. just when you thought all the drama possible had ended for the night, surprise surprise. |
