bbq. bbq was damn rush for me cos i had the games wk thing on before tt, so i had to get back home to shower first. by the time i left home it was almost 7, and a shopping list of bananas and choc fudge was still bugging me. i only got to naomin's place at like 8.30, but that didnt matter much cos apparently the fire wasnt up yet. no matter, i wanted to see the birth of our bbq fire anyway, so i stood by the bbq ppl and witness their countless attempts to begin bbq-ing the much awaited food. it didnt take long before all was up, and we were finally doing what we were supposed to do like horus ago. so there i was looking on as steph prepared all the finger-licking food. as usual like any other bbq that i've been to, we didnt finish bbq-ing all the food up, and we werent realy sticking together la, cos some were flirting with rahman while others bball or bbq. so when time was up, we cleared the mess discussed where we were going to spend the night. we moved over to nao's place to seek shelter and lodging, and to our delight, her mom was swt enough ( this trait somehow doesnt run in the family i think. haha!) to microwave the remaining otas for us, which i welcome any time. so all of us were chillin' out, i was waiting at the table with sq for food!!! ok, fine, so i WAS the only one waiting for the food, no matter. nao however mistakenly assumed that we were gossiping abt something, and that was followed by the other gals coming over for a bite of some juicy news. haha, to their dismay, the food arrived before either of us could satisfy them (dont think crooked). ok, then somehow we began to talk abt mkk as usual, and sq was attempting to re-enact a very popular scene with mkk and nao as leads. mh and clar butted in later on and decided to ignore the existence of their true genders to give us a ball of a time with their oscar-worthy performances. we went over to mac in the middle of the night to grab a bite, and ended it all with a game of bball which lasted as long as the sun didnt come up too hot. i was even contemplating to watch a movie since i felt so ALIVE, but gs pointed out it was only because of the adrenaline rushing through my body, and my enthuness would be short lived. haha, no matter, fun fun bbq. |
