mid year, wohoo! bring it on bruda! yea, finally, almost everyone JCian have something in common: mugging for the mid-years. i mean, it gives ya the chance to talk about something with ya pals from other JCs, though it might actually be the last thing everyone wants to talk about. been snooping around ppl's blogs lately ( actually all the time la), and pretty much everyone has the word mug used intensely. be it 'mugging for exams' or 'can i get a mug of milo?' (lameness intended), it is uanimous. all of us wana do well. so hey, wish ya all lotsa luck and go mug. till now, i still dun get the meaning of mug. i always think that mug would be burning all ya midnight oil till the wee hours of the morning, refilling with wat, morning oil? and then continue to burn it all away...but u see a couple of peeps doing some hwk at the benches in sch and u hear ppl going 'arz, mugger!'. it sounds like as if mugging is taboo, where u gota do it discreetly. honestly, i myself aint an advocate of mugging. if ya diligently do ya work daily, revise and stuff, den mugging will be the last thing on ya mind. but yea, we all have this habit of procrastinating, so hence, 'mugging'. vicious cycle, vicious cycle... i've got like a dozen of chapters of chem&phy to go, and dozens more of maths. ling ling said re-doing all our maths tutorials will help, so ok, tat aint too bad. but the science TYS are terror man, so boring! it gets rather repetitive after u whack a couple of the qns. that explains why i leave doing TYS to late at night, cos' who needs sleeping pills when you've got TYS? i sound so relaxed for one who hasn't touched on revision, but i guess that's me. aint gona feel the pressure unless it's like a couple of days before the exam week. ppl kee telling me that they aint gona have any time left to finish with revision. but i think as long as u tell yaself there's enough, there'll be enuf. no worries man, think simple, complications only bring further problems. i may appear like i'm mugging, but i can honestly admit that i aint, it cramps my style. u know wat? i'm only blogging cos' i'm all alone at home, and seldom do i get such privacy. so i decided to make full use of it, and blog. but it so happens that i have zilch to talk about, hence, the nonsense in the above paragraphs. i'll end here then. |
